This is a sculpture near the beach in Oceanside, CA. It is an abstract representation of a surfer on a surfboard board, riding a wave. Against a backdrop of palm trees and a sunset, it is quite striking.

As an artist, I am interested in painting and capturing images of all the beauty that surrounds us. We live in an incredibly beautiful world, and I try not to take that for granted. I paint with watercolors (my favorite medium), acrylics, alcohol inks, color pencils, sometimes mixing different mediums for certain effects. I also try capturing interesting views or angles with my camera. Depending on the subject, I may modify a photograph digitally to create a totally different and interesting image.
