Description
While traveling to Colorado, I found several Magpie birds in snow covered trees in the Glenwood Canyon area. They are so beautiful with the distinct black and white colors, accentuated by the blue on top of their wings. It is hard to believe that they are in the same family as the crows. They look particularly striking sitting on the bare branches in a winter setting.
